How do Organic Fertilizer Manufacturers Solve Environmental Problems?
How do Organic Fertilizer Manufacturers Solve Environmental Problems?
(1) Exhaust gas and odor pollution
The raw materials of organic fertilizer are mostly waste and perishable substances. It is easy to produce harmful gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide during the storage and fermentation of organic fertilizer raw materials, which will cause different degrees of harm to respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular, endocrine and nervous systems. Some odors have mental or emotional stimuli and effects even if there is no health hazard.
At present, there are many methods for eliminating odor and exhaust gas, such as water washing, chemical treatment, combustion, adsorption, air dilution, masking, ozone oxidation, plasma, and biological deodorization. The most widely used method by organic fertilizer manufacturer is the biological deodorization method. This method uses the activity of microorganisms to decompose and convert the odor to achieve the purpose of deodorization. This method is easy to operate and cost-effective. It is recommended that organic fertilizer manufacturers construct closed raw material warehouses as well as fermentation workshops and secondary aging workshops, as conditions permit, so as to reduce the leakage of odors and harmful gases during the conversion process.
When selecting the plant, choose to go away from the residential area and the densely populated areas of the residents and the upper outlets of the residents’ living areas.
(2) Waste liquid pollution
Many raw materials for organic fertilizers contain a lot of water, such as pig manure, cow dung, chicken manure and other raw materials. During the process of raw material accumulation and fermentation, there will be waste liquid flowing out into the ground to cause pollution to the groundwater. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out cement hardening and anti-seepage treatment on the ground of the raw material warehouse fermentation workshop during the construction of the plant.
(3)Dust pollution
Dust pollution is the main pollution of organic fertilizer manufacturers in the production process, which needs to be treated with care, and there are many processesthat generate dust pollution.
(1) When the raw materials are discharged into the warehouse and transported in different workshops using the truck
(2) When fermenting and turning raw materials
(3) When crushing raw materials with crusher
(4) When drying and cooling the fertilizer granules
Many organic fertilizer manufacturers will build dust chambers in the production workshop, using induced draft fans and dust collectors to solve the dust problem. Common dust removal equipment are: cyclone dust collector, pulse dust collector, water curtain dust collector, bag filter and so on. Here, the dust is said to be a source of pollution, but these dusts are all derived from organic fertilizers. After being collected, they can be added to the raw materials and fermented to continue to produce organic fertilizer.
(5) Noise pollution
In addition to choosing to stay away from residential areas when selecting a site, try to choose low-noise organic fertilizer processing equipment; strengthen equipment maintenance to avoid high noise caused by abnormal operation of equipment; installation equipment can increase shock absorption measures; reasonable planning plant sites, use buildings to reduce noise, build green belts, use vegetation to absorb sound, etc.
